If you have a handle on finances, and are looking for a job with one of the up and comers in Canada, and enjoy working in a fun, casual environment (we may be getting a slide!), you are invited to apply for:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-weight: bold;\">FINANCE MANAGER<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>The Role<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The <b>Finance Manager <\/b>will have the opportunity to manage the accounting and administration functions of the wholesale and residential division. Monthly, quarterly and annual functions are very timeline driven and require accuracy while remaining true to accounting guidelines.\u00a0This position offers you an excellent and challenging opportunity to gain experience in regards to telecommunications and all that it entails, from acquisition integration to automation and streamlining of processes.<\/p>\n<p><b>Responsibilities:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In charge of developing and implementing accounting policies and\u00a0procedures related to wholesale and residential services<\/li>\n<li>Identify and resolve accounting issues<\/li>\n<li>Coach and mentor two direct reports in accounts receivable and collections<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for recruiting, training and team management for\u00a0accounting staff<\/li>\n<li>Revenue recording for residential entities, including deferred revenue<\/li>\n<li>Monthly working paper preparation for Residential and Wholesale entities<\/li>\n<li>Wholesale invoice\/credit batch review and posting<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with various departments within the organization to help facilitate a collaborative work environment<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate special projects that arise that involve residential customers<\/li>\n<li>Proactively develop key financial analysis and insights to help enable the company meet its quarterly and annual targets, and strategic objectives<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Understand and communicate financial results and trends to\u00a0business management, and recommend appropriate course of action when results differ from plan<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Play a key role in all aspects of monthly, quarterly and annual closes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelors degree in related field<\/li>\n<li>Working towards CGA, or other designation preferred<\/li>\n<li>3-5 of years previous relative experience<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of sophisticated ERP systems<\/li>\n<li>Microsoft Dynamics GP experience an asset<\/li>\n<li>Experience managing others as part of a team<\/li>\n<li>Telecommunications\u2019 industry knowledge is highly recommended<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our Company<\/p>\n<p><i>We are one of Canada\u2019s fastest growing telecommunications companies and one of Waterloo Region\u2019s emerging start-up success stories!
